Job summary

Technical Engineering Support (TES) is seeking a Cost Engineer (m/f) to join our Cost and Forecasting team on the Hinkley Point C nuclear project in the UK. The role focuses on applying the cost management strategy, data integrity, and timely reporting across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning phases.

Candidates should have an HND or equivalent in project controls or related fields and proven experience in cost management within project environments.

Qualifications

• HND or equivalent qualification in Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Project Management and Project Controls environment.

Responsibilities

• Data Management & Integrity: Establish and maintain accurate cost and forecast data aligned with CBS/WBS; maintain data in EcoSys, SAP.
• Reporting & Performance Tracking: Produce cost/forecast reports with commentary on time drivers and performance.
• Trend & Change Control: Assist in trend and change management; provide KPI analysis and risk/opportunity input.
• Decision Support: Deliver analytical insights to support robust decision-making.
• Support to Senior Engineers: Provide analytical backing through interpretation of technical, financial and performance data.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across teams and uphold HPC values and culture.
