What We're Looking For:

• Oversee the cost control function across designated units, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets.
• Monitor and analyse inventory movements, wastage, and stock reconciliations.
• Validate and process supplier invoices, ensuring correct pricing and quantities.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes alongside operational and finance teams.
• Support operational teams in understanding cost structures and financial KPIs.
• Maintain accurate records and generate weekly and monthly cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
• Collaborate with procurement to optimise purchasing decisions and supplier agreements.
• Contribute to margin improvement initiatives through detailed cost analysis and insights.
• Liaise with the central finance team to support month end closing and audits.

What You'll Bring:

• Previous experience in a cost control, finance assistant, or commercial support role.
• Strong understanding of stock and inventory control, preferably in hospitality or catering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence operational teams.
• Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with SAP, Unit4, or similar ERP/finance systems.
• Background in stadium, events, or large scale hospitality operations.
