Job summary

A leading food manufacturer based in Greater Lincolnshire is seeking a qualified or part-qualified Cost Accountant. In this newly created role, you will work closely with the Commercial Team to maintain standard costs associated with materials and overheads, while supporting product development and driving commercial success.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part qualified with AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
• Minimum of 3 years of Food manufacturing experience or similar financial analysis role.
• Good IT skills particularly with data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Team in driving commercial success.
• Produce costings for new product development and annual tenders.
• Collaborate with various internal departments including Commercial, Process, Procurement, and Operations.

Join this leading food manufacturer as their Cost Accountant, working alongside various departments maintaining standard costs for materials, overheads etc.

This is a newly created role of Cost Accountant that will report to the Commercial Finance Business Partner. This is a large Food Manufacturer that produce sauces, dips and dressing sold into all major UK retailers.

As a Cost Accountant, you will be assisting the Commercial Team driving the commercial success and supporting its growth.

You will produce costings for new product development, annual tenders, etc.
Working closely with internal departments, including Commercial, Process, Procurement and Operations

To be successful in the role

Ideally qualified or part qualified with AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Ideally a minimum of 3 years of Food manufacturing experience, however a similar financial analysis role within a manufacturing or production will be considered
Good IT skills particularly with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools and/or systems
