Job summary

Zachary Daniels is seeking a technically minded Regulatory Officer to support cosmetics and beauty products from development through lifecycle. The role focuses on providing accurate technical information, maintaining documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance across UK and international markets.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Cosmetic Science or Chemistry, strong Excel/IT skills, and a genuine interest in cosmetics and product formulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong Excel and IT skills.
• Interest in cosmetics, beauty products and formulations.

Responsibilities

• Gather, review and maintain technical product information including formulations and INCI.
• Assist in preparing Product Information Files (PIFs).
• Review technical documentation for completeness and consistency.
• Liaise with laboratories, suppliers and external partners for required documentation.
• Coordinate technical information from suppliers and manufacturing partners; ensure accuracy and up-to-date records.
• Maintain product certifications and supporting documentation.
• Support cosmetic product notifications and registrations across UK and international markets.
• Maintain regulatory databases, declarations and compliance documents.
• Develop knowledge of cosmetic legislation, ingredients, product safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support product launches and technical/regulatory projects.
