Job summary

Bluebolt Recruitment is seeking a Technical Account Manager for a company supplying specialist chemicals to the personal care sector. Hybrid office/home working is offered, with extensive UK travel.

The role targets an experienced chemical sales professional capable of building long-term relationships with R&D, Purchasing, and Marketing teams, and delivering robust technical support and new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong technical understanding of the full range of chemical products and their formulation characteristics.
• Regularly visiting customers to develop long-term relationships with their R&D, Purchasing and Marketing teams across the UK travel.
• Understand the technical and commercial needs of customers.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Provide ongoing technical support to customers during development.
• Collaborate with Technical Development Chemists to create innovative formulations.
• Identify and exploit new business opportunities.
• Attend industry meetings, seminars, exhibitions to enhance knowledge and opportunities.
