Job summary

Bluebolt Recruitment seeks a Technical Account Manager to support a chemicals supplier serving the personal care sector. The role blends office-based work with home flexibility and offers extensive training and a fully equipped laboratory.

You will travel across the UK to engage R&D, Purchasing and Marketing teams, translate technical needs into business development opportunities, and work with chemists to create innovative formulations.

Qualifications

• Strong scientific education, preferably a degree in a scientific subject.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies to business development.
• Proactive, analytical thinker with high customer service standards.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong technical understanding of chemical products and their formulation characteristics.
• Regularly visit customers to build long-term relationships with R&D, Purchasing and Marketing teams; extensive UK travel.
• Understand customer technical and commercial needs and communicate complex information clearly.
• Collaborate with Technical Development Chemists to create innovative formulations and solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and represent the company at industry events.
