Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Corrugator Operative to join our West Auckland site. You will operate corrugator machinery safely, produce sheet board to specified quality, and monitor performance to ensure production targets are met.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and continuous improvement, with opportunities for training across different areas of the corrugator operation and progression within a global leader in sustainable packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
• Experience operating machinery or working on production lines.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Awareness of health and safety in an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate corrugator machinery safely and efficiently.
• Produce sheet board to the required quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality.
• Complete quality checks and production records accurately.
• Help to minimise waste and improve machine efficiency.
• Reporting equipment issues and supporting continuous production flow.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve production, quality and performance targets.
• Training across different areas of the corrugator operation, including support areas.
