Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking Corrugator Operatives for our West Auckland site. You will operate corrugator machinery, produce sheet board to quality standards, monitor performance and support continuous production flow.

We offer ongoing training, safety-focused teamwork, and opportunities to develop skills across production areas in a global leader in sustainable packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or warehouse environments.
• Experience operating machinery or production lines.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements within an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate corrugator machinery safely and efficiently.
• Produce sheet board to required quality standards and customer specs.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality.
• Complete quality checks and production records accurately.
• Help minimise waste and improve machine efficiency.
• Report equipment issues and support continuous production flow.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve production, quality and performance targets.
• Train across different areas of the corrugator operation and support areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating corrugator machinery safely and efficiently
• Producing sheet board to the required quality standards and customer specifications

• Completing quality checks and production records accurately
• Helping to minimise waste and improve machine efficiency
• Reporting equipment issues and supporting continuous production flow
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve production, quality and performance targets
• Training across different areas of the corrugator operation, including support areas such as reel stores and baling operations
