Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Northampton is seeking a Corrugator Team Leader to drive safety, quality and production on the shift. You will lead a small team, coach colleagues, and partner with engineering, quality and maintenance to deliver the one-team approach.

You will champion continuous improvement, develop people through training and feedback, and ensure products meet the required quality, specification and quantity.

• Supporting risk assessments, accident investigations, audits and safe working practices.
• Leading your shift team to deliver outstanding safety, quality and production results.
• Driving improvements in efficiency, output, quality and waste reduction.
• Creating a positive, high-performing environment where everyone can succeed.
• Coaching, developing and supporting team members through training, reviews and regular feedback.
• Ensuring products are manufactured to the right quality, specification and quantity.
• Building a skilled and flexible team capable of meeting changing business needs.
• Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and fellow Team Leaders to deliver our “one team” approach.
• Championing continuous improvement and encouraging new ideas from across the team.
