Addington Ball Recruitment Ltd, recruiting on behalf of a Northampton-based accountancy practice, is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager. The role blends advisory work with complex compliance, offering hybrid work, flexitime, and career progression into senior leadership.

You will manage client relationships, provide advisory tax guidance, oversee compliance, mentor staff, and liaise with HMRC. Salary up to £46,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent relevant tax advisory experience from within a practice environment
• Proficient understanding of the tax legislation and the practical application
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate client relationships, ensuring tax services are executed efficiently and effectively
• Provide tax advice to individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts
• Oversee tax compliance, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely
• Identify, investigate, and resolve complex tax issues, providing clear and comprehensive solutions
• Supervise and mentor tax staff, fostering a constructive and supportive learning environment
• Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies when required
