Addington Ball is assisting a Northampton-based accountancy practice in recruiting a Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager. The role blends advisory work with complex compliance, offering a path to leadership while delivering strategic tax services to a diverse client base.

You will manage client relationships, provide tax guidance to individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts, supervise junior staff, and coordinate with HMRC.

Qualifications

• ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent relevant tax advisory experience from within a practice environment
• Proficient understanding of tax legislation and its practical application
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate client relationships, ensuring tax services are executed efficiently and effectively
• Provide tax advice to individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts
• Oversee tax compliance, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely
• Identify, investigate, and resolve complex tax issues, providing clear and comprehensive solutions
• Supervise and mentor tax staff, fostering a constructive and supportive learning environment
• Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies when required
