Job summary

The Financial Times is seeking an experienced Corporate Systems Technology Programme Manager to lead enterprise-wide initiatives spanning Oracle Finance technology transformation, Workday modernisation, and business model redesign. You will guide multiple workstreams and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Security and Infrastructure to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience directing large-scale technology and/or business transformation programs.
• Broad technology delivery experience across digital products, SaaS platforms, cloud, infrastructure, data platforms or enterprise apps.
• Strong programme planning, governance, financial management, risk management and dependency management.
• Experience delivering in Agile, hybrid and/or traditional delivery environments.
• Track record leading complex cross-functional delivery with senior collaborators.
• Experience coordinating third-party suppliers and multi-vendor environments.
• Confident communicating with executives and governance boards to drive decisions.
• Strong commercial insight including budget and investment oversight.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, influencing and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide intricate technology and business transformation initiatives from initiation through execution, adoption and benefits achievement.
• Develop and sustain consolidated programme plans across workstreams, teams and partners.
• Establish governance ensuring alignment with strategy and investment objectives.
• Drive execution with planning, decision-making, dependency management and accountability.
• Coordinate delivery across business and technology teams, considering architectural, security and operational impacts.
• Lead steering committees, governance forums and reporting with visibility on progress and risks.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and investment tracking to support funding decisions.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead relationships with third-party suppliers and integrators across multi-vendor environments.
• Support commercial activities including statements of work and contract negotiations.
• Lead business change, readiness, communications, adoption activities and benefits realization.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to align priorities and trade-offs.
• Ensure programmes transition to operations with ongoing value tracking.
