Job summary

Austen Lloyd Legal Recruitment is partnering with a Legal 500 firm in Hertfordshire to recruit a Corporate Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ PQE. You will handle a varied corporate caseload including M&A, restructurings, share deals and JV work, advising a broad range of businesses, shareholders and investors.

You will work closely with senior lawyers, develop your own client relationships and assume increasing responsibility in a supportive, high-calibre environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE in Corporate law
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercially minded with client-facing experience

Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and restructurings
• Handle share acquisitions and disposals, management buyouts/sell-ins
• Draft shareholder agreements, joint ventures and governance documents
• Develop client relationships and take increasing responsibility within the team

We are working with a Legal 500 firm in Hertfordshire that is looking to strengthen its Corporate team with the appointment of an ambitious and commercially minded Solicitor / Legal Executive

The Opportunity

You will join an established Corporate team advising a broad range of businesses, shareholders and investors across a varied and interesting caseload to include -

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Corporate re-organisations and restructurings
• Share acquisitions and disposals
• Management buyouts and buy-ins
• Shareholder agreements
• Joint ventures
• Investment and funding transactions
• Corporate governance and general advisory work

You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers while developing your own client relationships and taking increasing responsibility for matters

About You

• 3+ years' PQE
• Strong experience within a Corporate team
• Good technical knowledge and a commercially focused approach
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• The confidence to deal directly with clients and other professional advisers
• A genuine interest in developing their career within a well-regarded Corporate practice
• The ambition and personality to become an integral part of the team
