The Army Benevolent Fund, the Army's national charity, is dedicated to supporting soldiers, veterans, and their families for life. They provide funding for housing, employability, mental wellbeing, family support, elderly care, and independent living. Last year, they supported over 75,000 individuals through their work, including funding 86 charities. Corporate partnerships play a crucial role in funding their work.

About the Role

They are seeking an ambitious candidate to join their growing Corporate Partnerships team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of corporate partnerships and make a meaningful impact on the lives of soldiers, veterans, and their families. The team manages a range of impactful corporate relationships, from large-scale, long-term funding partnerships to a new corporate membership scheme, and staff fundraising relationships. You will join them at a pivotal time as they continue to expand the size and value of their programme, benefiting from a healthy pipeline of prospects and a popular corporate events programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with existing partners by planning and delivering engagement and communications plans.
  • Identify, engage, and pitch to prospective supporters to build income across their corporate partnerships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within and beyond the corporate team, including their 12 regional offices.
  • Manage a Corporate Fundraising Executive and report to the Head of High Value Relationships.
About You
  • This role is ideal for a military veteran with some experience in the charity or commercial sector in a relationships-based role or an experienced Corporate Partnerships Manager.
  • You must be a confident and effective communicator with experience in sales and relationship management.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems are highly desirable.
  • The successful candidate will be tasked with achieving ambitious fundraising targets while working within the bounds of a sector-leading military charity.
Benefits
  • Starting salary of £44,000.
  • Full range of employment benefits after a 6-month probationary period, including an income protection scheme and an employer contribution pension.
  • Opportunities to participate in key charity events and activities with a TOIL scheme in place.
  • Hybrid/flexible working pattern with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
Details
  • Full-time post for 35 hours per week.
  • Initial two-year fixed-term contract based at the charity's office in London, Victoria.
