Job summary

Nelsons is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join our Nottingham team. You will work with partners and solicitors on a broad range of corporate transactions, supporting SMEs to larger entities. The role suits a paralegal with corporate or commercial exposure who wants to develop within a supportive, dynamic environment.

You will assist on mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, share agreements and governance matters, with hybrid and flexible working opportunities and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a paralegal within corporate or commercial teams.
• Strong drafting and legal research capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive, professional and team‑focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist on mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions.
• Support corporate reorganisations and restructuring projects.
• Handle share purchases, asset sales and shareholder agreements.
• Assist with company formations and constitutional documents.
• Support corporate governance and compliance matters.
• Conduct due diligence and prepare transaction documents.
• Assist with Companies House filings and records management.
• Provide research and drafting support.
