Job summary

The CFO HQ is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager for a six-month contract based in Rugby, Warwickshire. The role requires a hands-on, technical accountant who will shoulder corporate finance responsibilities and produce key financial statements.

Initially on-site in Rugby (4 days/week), with flexibility for 2–3 days on site later as business needs require, including attendance at County meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified accountant with hands-on technical expertise in corporate finance.
• Experience producing the statement of accounts and working with external auditors.
• Experience with VAT, CIS returns, Fixed Asset Register, Accounts Payable, Treasury Management and Cash Flow.

Responsibilities

• Production of the statement of accounts and liaising with external auditors.
• VAT compliance and CIS returns handling.
• Management of the Fixed Asset Register and Accounts Payable.
