Sheer Jobs Ltd in Rugby is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager on a 6-month on-site assignment. The role requires a fully qualified accountant and hands-on management of corporate finance items.

You will cover production of statements, external audit, VAT and other financial duties across district and borough councils, with occasional travel around the county.

Corporate Finance Manager

The first couple of weeks will need to be on site in Rugby probably for at least 4 days each week – so that they can understand what is going and to meet all the relevant people. After that it will need to be on site presence of 2 or 3 days – depending on business need, they may need to attend meetings throughout the County – and must be prepared to accommodate this.

Must be a fully Qualified Accountant and member of one of the appropriate bodies.

Essential Requirements

• Must be a fully qualified accountant and be basically, a hands-on technical accountant that will also have all the responsibility for all corporate finance items.
• Must be able to produce statement of accounts and be hands on - no managing people who do it.
• Must have sufficient and recent experience in District and Borough Councils.
