The Role:
The successful Corporate Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a pipeline of new business opportunities worth millions of pounds with national multisite organisations within the public and private sectors such as education, hospitals, hotel chains, and retail to deliver profitable revenue growth. You will manage your daily activities, plan journeys, proactively set up business meetings, and drive sales by providing high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively seek new business on a national basis to meet set targets
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly / annual new business targets
  • Report calls, leads, quotes, and contract activity on the CRM
  • Produce and present weekly, monthly, quarterly personal performance reports
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Depot Manager and Operations team to implement sales initiatives within the region
  • Serve as the primary interface for target customers
  • Present to board level
  • Work with tenders and bids team when preparing tenders
  • Handle sales prospecting and pricing negotiations

  • Sold £500,000 to over £1 million orders
  • Experience with consultative sales, bids, and tenders
  • Proven track record in new business sales
Benefits:
  • £50,000 - £60,000 Basic Salary
  • OTE £75,000 - £85,000 Uncapped Commission
