Simpson Judge in Stockport is seeking a Corporate Associate/Senior Associate to join on a hybrid basis. You will lead high-value buy- and sell-side M&A, private equity and investment transactions, and advise on shareholder agreements, restructures and governance.

You will build long-term client relationships, manage time recording, billing and cash collection, and participate in network events to grow the business while supporting colleagues with a high level of service.

Corporate Associate/Senior Associate | Hybrid | Stockport

An exciting opportunity for a corporate solicitor to join this firms team in Stockport. You’ll handle high-value matters with a strong degree of autonomy, working alongside a supportive team of colleagues. The role centres on leading buy- and sell-side M&A, private equity and investment transactions, as well as advising on shareholder agreements, group restructures and corporate governance.

Client relationships are at the heart of the position, and you’ll be expected to build and maintain long‑term relationships through excellent communication and high‑quality service. You’ll also play an active part in growing the business, generating fee income, keeping effective control of time recording, work in progress, billing and cash collection against agreed targets, and getting involved in networking, developing new client relationships and attending business development events.
