Job summary

AJ Chambers is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Associate to join their growing corporate team in London. You will handle transactional and corporate matters with a focus on delivering technically accurate legal advice aligned with client commercial needs.

You will support partners on complex transactions, manage trainees, oversee due diligence, draft disclosure letters, and supervise the signing and completion process. Hybrid working may be available depending on level and case load.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 2-4 PQE relevant private practice experience in corporate law.
• Strong academics at university and in the SQE.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice on transactional and corporate matters.
• Manage and coordinate multiple transactional matters.
• Support partners and senior associates on complex corporate transactions.
• Oversee trainees on the transaction.
• Assist due diligence processes.
• Draft initial disclosure letters and participate in disclosure calls/meetings.
• Manage signing and completion process.

AJ Chambers are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Associate to join a growing corporate team in London for a top 100 law firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide an outstanding quality of service to clients on transactional and corporate matters in a commercial manner through delivery of technically accurate legal advice adapted to the client's commercial needs.
• Manage and deal effectively with multiple transactional projects / matters.
• Support partners and senior associates on complex corporate transactions. In particular:
• Manage trainees on the transaction.
• Support due diligence processes
• On appropriate smaller and simpler transactions assist more senior fee earners in preparing material transaction documentation
• Prepare the first draft of the disclosure letter including attending disclosure calls/meetings and preparing the specific disclosures.
• Manage the signing and completion process

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 2-4 PQE relevant private practice experience in corporate law
• Strong academics at university and in the SQE
