Job summary

The Top 50 UK law firm seeks a Corporate Associate (3+ PQE) to join its expanding South West team in Bristol. You will handle high-quality transactional work, take early responsibility, and contribute to the growth of a successful regional practice.

You will work with a Corporate Partner on a varied caseload including M&A, restructures, shareholder agreements, private equity investments and general corporate advisory work.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with around 3+ years' PQE and solid experience handling corporate matters.
• Strong technical corporate law knowledge.
• Commercial and proactive approach to practice and clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, shareholder agreements, investments and private equity transactions, and general corporate advisory work.
• Manage your own matters with collaboration within a team.
• Provide high-quality transactional work for owner-managed and corporate clients in the Bristol/South West region.

We're working with a highly regarded Top 50 UK law firm that is looking to appoint a Corporate Associate (3+ PQE) into its expanding South West team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate lawyer seeking high-quality transactional work, early responsibility, and the chance to play a key role in the continued growth of a successful practice.

The Opportunity

You'll join a collaborative team of experienced corporate lawyers advising a broad client base, including owner-managed businesses, fast-growth companies, established corporates and institutional clients.

Working closely with a well-respected Corporate Partner who is continuing to expand the firm's presence across the Bristol market, you'll gain exposure to a varied caseload including:

• Mergers & acquisitions
• Corporate restructures
• Shareholder agreements
• Investments and private equity transactions
• General corporate advisory work

About You

You'll be a qualified Solicitor with around 3+ years' PQE and solid experience handling corporate matters.

You'll also bring:

• Strong technical corporate law knowledge
• Confidence managing your own matters while working collaboratively
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A commercial and proactive approach
• An interest in helping grow a successful regional practice
