Job summary

Colten Care is seeking a qualified accountant to join the Controllership team. You will deliver external reporting to investors and stakeholders and gain visibility across Finance and the wider business while developing a deep understanding of the company’s financial performance.

You will drive improvements to key processes and adapt our ways of working to new systems, contributing to robust and informative financial reporting and effective corporate structure management.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA or MBA.
• Demonstrable attention to detail with strong communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work at pace.

Responsibilities

• Executing and improving our key annual and quarterly statutory reporting processes.
• Taking responsibility for key control processes in the Statutory Reporting team's remit.
• Providing financial controls oversight to ASDA's charitable activities.
• Project responsibilities relating to the evolution of the group structure.
• Driving further efficiency and effectiveness in our statutory reporting processes and corporate structure.

Do you have a background in accountancy or audit? Do you want to add value and see the fruits of your labour realised? Do want the opportunity to join a key team in Finance delivering high quality financial information to the business and our external stakeholders?

Your role

You will help deliver our external reporting to our investors and other stakeholders, gaining visibility across various areas of Finance and the wider business whilst developing a great understanding of Asda's financial performance.

Also you'll have the opportunity to drive improvements to key processes and adapt our ways of working to new and improved systems.

You will be a key part of the Controllership team, combining your technical knowledge with communication and prioritisation skills to ensure that we deliver robust and informative financial reporting. Responsibilities include

About You

• You will be a qualified accountant either ACA, CIMA, ACCA or MBA
