Confidential in Bristol is seeking an experienced Corporate Account Handler / Client Advisor to service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. You will work closely with Client Executives and internal teams to deliver responsive, high-quality service, supporting new business, renewals and ongoing servicing.

We value strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance, good client and insurer liaison skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance, ideally as Account Handler or Client Adviser.
• Strong technical knowledge of the commercial insurance market.
• Understanding of insurance broking processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills.
• Experience using insurance systems; Acturis knowledge is advantageous.
• Cert CII qualification or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance accounts, covering renewals and new business.

Are you an experienced Insurance Account Handler or Client Adviser looking for your next opportunity within the commercial insurance market?

We are working with an established insurance business that is looking to appoint a Corporate Account Handler to join its Bristol team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of commercial insurance who enjoys building relationships, delivering excellent client service and working closely with experienced Client Executives.

In this role, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, working closely with Client Executives and wider internal teams to ensure clients receive a high-quality, responsive service.

The Role

• -Managing the day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance accounts.
• -Working closely with Client Executives to support the management and development of client relationships.
• -Applying your commercial insurance knowledge to client queries and account requirements.
• -Working with standard policy wordings, extensions and limitations.
• -Liaising with insurers and assisting with negotiations where required.
• -Supporting the full end-to-end broking process, including new business, renewals and ongoing client servicing.
• -Maintaining accurate client records and using internal systems effectively, including invoicing and data management.
• -Identifying opportunities to meet wider client needs and referring these to relevant internal colleagues.
• -Building strong working relationships with colleagues and contributing positively as part of a collaborative team.
• -Maintaining your professional knowledge and continuing professional development.
• -Working in line with FCA requirements, business processes and regulatory standards.

About You

• -Previous experience within commercial insurance, ideally in an Account Handler, Client Adviser or similar position.
• -Strong technical knowledge of the commercial insurance market.
• -A good understanding of insurance broking processes and regulatory requirements.
• -Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills.
• -The ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
• -Confidence dealing with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• -A proactive and collaborative approach to delivering positive client outcomes.
• -Experience using insurance systems; knowledge of Acturis would be advantageous.
• -Cert CII qualification or a willingness to work towards this.
