Job summary

Aprolis UK is seeking a Workshop Engineer to be based at our Equipment Preparation Centre in Corby. You will carry out routine maintenance and repairs on short/long term hire machines and customer-owned equipment, ensuring high quality and safe operation.

You will perform pre-delivery inspections, prepare demo fleet equipment, manage battery levels, and coordinate with the Workshop Manager to plan workload. The role emphasizes adherence to ISO standards and a proactive, safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Inspect trucks arriving at the depot and carry out repairs as directed by the Workshop Manager.
• Perform pre-delivery inspection on new equipment to set standards before despatch.
• Maintain and prepare demo fleet equipment for customer and dealer requirements.
• Check battery levels and safety procedures for electric powered equipment.
• Liaise with Workshop Manager to plan workload and submit parts requisitions.
• Work with ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001 standards and follow safe working practices.
