Mira, a San Francisco-based hormonal health company, is hiring a Copy Lead to own messaging architecture across brand, campaigns, and product language. You will lead two copywriters and report to the Creative Director, shaping a scalable copy system with libraries, style guides, and ongoing legal-aligned experimentation.

You will drive demand for a regulated health category, craft scroll-stopping copy, and ensure the team delivers consistent, high-impact messaging in a remote, fast-paced startup

Qualifications

• 5+ years of copywriting experience with senior/lead ownership of brand or campaign messaging.
• Experience in regulated/compliance-sensitive categories (health/wellness) is a plus.
• Demonstrated copy craft: hooky, scannable, clear at a glance, not generic.
• Product marketing fluency: connect business goals to messaging and personas.
• Portfolio showing range across campaign, product, and multi-channel copy.
• Experience training, editing, or managing other writers.
• Nice-to-have: femtech or wellness background; prior experience managing writers directly.

Responsibilities

• Own messaging architecture and top-level copy for major campaigns and product launches.
• Maintain brand and product copy, including ongoing experiments with legal input.
• Build and maintain copy libraries, style guides, and training materials.
• Edit, QA, and coach copywriters and content team to a consistent standard.
• Manage and grow the two copywriters: direction, performance, hiring as the team scales.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director on how copy and design work together.
• Address repeating claims and compliance questions before legal review, escalating only new/ambiguous issues.
