You will play an important part in the lives of the people we support by helping encourage them to create nutritious and tasty food. You will assist them in learning new cooking skills and support them in preparing flavorful meals. It would be great if you could also help them make meals from different parts of the world, adding some zing!
Role Description
Cook Volunteer
Location: Maidstone
Time Commitment: Minimum of 2 hours per week
These cooking sessions will take place from Monday to Friday at our service in Maidstone.
Skills required
Please note that you need to be over 18 years old to apply for this role. To apply, click on the 'apply' button below and complete the application form. A member of our Volunteering Team will contact you for an informal chat and to explain the next steps. To ensure the safety of the people we support, a DBS check and two satisfactory references will be required before confirming your volunteer role. As you will be volunteering with vulnerable individuals, safeguarding training and any role-specific training will also be necessary.
