Job summary

Brunelcare is seeking an Assistant Chef to support the Head Chef with planning, organising, preparing, presenting and serving high-quality meals for residents and visitors.

You will ensure all food is produced to high standards and delivered to service points on time, while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and health and safety procedures. There is potential to deputise for the Head Chef if they are absent.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a catering environment and excellent catering skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with planning, organising, preparing, presenting and serving meals.
• Ensure all food is produced to high standards and delivered at the right time.
• Maintain high cleanliness and health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
