Job summary

Brunelcare is looking for an experienced Cook to support the Head Chef in preparing and presenting nutritious meals for residents and visitors. You will ensure high standards are maintained and meals are delivered to service points on time.

In addition, you will keep the kitchen clean and compliant with health and safety procedures, with the possibility of stepping in for the Head Chef when needed. Weekend shifts and varied hours are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment is essential.
• Willing to work weekends and various shifts.
• Teamwork and good communication within a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with planning, preparing, presenting and serving meals for residents and visitors.
• Ensure food is produced to high standards and delivered to service points on time.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• May step in for Head Chef when absent and carry out their responsibilities.
