Job summary

Cherry Lodge is seeking a Cook to join our dedicated team and prepare meals for children in our care. You will ensure allergen awareness, dietary needs, and high hygiene standards across kitchen operations.

Shift pattern includes 14:00-19:00 on weekdays and alternate weekends 10:00-15:00, with pro rata salary for part-time hours. Applicants should have catering experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and cooking for groups.
• Ability to prepare meals for multiple children with different needs.
• Experience in food ordering and stock control.
• Food safety and hygiene awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist and produce a range of food and drinks for children.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and keep safe food records.
• Work a rota including 14:00-19:00 weekdays and alternate weekends 10:00-15:00.
• Consider dietary needs/allergies and cultural requirements.
