Conifers Care Homes Ltd in Chester, United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Cook to join our catering team and support the Kitchen Manager and Home Manager. You will prepare meals for 50 elderly residents, ensuring nutrition and dietary needs are met while complying with hygiene regulations.

The role requires leadership to take charge of the kitchen, supervise the Kitchen Assistant, and organise daily operations across three 10.5-hour shifts beginning at 6:30am.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing meals suitable for the British palate.
• Experience cooking for approximately 50 elderly residents.
• Knowledge of food hygiene regulations and HSAW Act responsibilities.
• Ability to take charge, organise the kitchen and supervise the Kitchen Assistant.
• Commitment to meeting residents' dietary and nutrition needs.
