Job summary

Victoria Lodge Care Home in Brierley Hill is seeking a talented Cook to join our friendly team. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, cater for dietary needs, and maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety.

This daytime, part-time role is 28 hours per week with no late nights or split shifts, offering free meals on shift, free on-site parking, paid holiday and pension, DBS check, and ongoing training to support your development.

Qualifications

• Previous Chef experience.
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).
• Understanding of dietary needs (care setting experience is a plus).
• Reliable, caring, and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents.
• Cater for dietary needs (e.g. soft diets, allergies, diabetic requirements).
