Job summary

Brunelcare is seeking a Cook to assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, presenting, and serving nutritious meals for residents and visitors. You'll help ensure food is produced to high standards and quantities delivered on time, while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and following Health and Safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a catering environment and excellent catering skills are essential.
• Available to work various hours and shift patterns, including weekends.
• Willingness to undergo further training and development and attain relevant qualifications and specialised experience where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with planning, organising, preparing, presenting, and serving high-quality, nutritious meals for residents and visitors.
• Ensure all food is produced to the high standards and quantities are delivered to service points on time.
• Maintain high cleanliness throughout the kitchen and ensure Health and Safety procedures are implemented.
• If required, step in for the Head Chef and carry out their responsibilities.
