Job summary

Brunelcare is recruiting a cook on a zero hours contract to work in its kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in preparing and serving meals. The core of the work is producing nutritious food in the right quantities, keeping the kitchen clean and following health and safety procedures.

The post involves varied hours and shift patterns including weekends, and the cook may be asked to stand in for the Head Chef in their absence.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience is essential.
• DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.
• Willingness to undertake further training and qualifications where required.

• Ensure all food meets Brunelcare's high standards.
• Deliver the correct quantities of food to service points at the right time.

• Step in for the Head Chef in their absence and carry out their responsibilities, if required.
