Hartford Care Ltd. in Wolverhampton is seeking a talented Cook for Aldergrove Manor Care Home. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents and cater to dietary needs in a supportive kitchen environment.

This daytime, part-time role offers consistent daytime shifts, a friendly team, free meals on shift, and on-site parking. No late nights or split shifts, with training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Previous chef experience in a care/hospitality setting is preferred.
• Food hygiene certificate is required (Level 2 or above).
• Understanding of dietary needs for residents (special diets, allergies, diabetes) is essential.

Location: Aldergrove Manor Care Home,

Hours: Part time / 27 hours – daytime shifts only

Your Role:

• Prepare fresh, nutritious, and appetising meals for residents
• Cater for dietary needs (e.g. soft diets, allergies, diabetic requirements)
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety
• Manage stock and minimise waste
• Engage with residents to enhance their dining experience

What we’re looking for:

• Previous Chef experience
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
• Understanding of dietary needs (care setting experience is a plus)
• Reliable, caring, and team-focused attitude
