Job summary

Clarence Park Care Home is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents with complex health needs, working 17 hours per week at £12.71 per hour. The role offers a consistent pattern, ongoing training, and a supportive team.

You will ensure high standards of hygiene, accommodate dietary requirements, and contribute to menu planning while maintaining quality and safety in every service.

Cook Contract

Role Overview

As Cook, you will play an important role within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs by preparing and delivering high quality, nutritious meals that support wellbeing and enhance daily life. You will prepare and serve meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, including modified or specialist diets where required, ensuring high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times. Working with fresh ingredients, you will support menu planning and contribute to a varied and balanced dining experience. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This role offers a consistent routine and strong work life balance while still allowing you to take pride in delivering quality food every day.
