Vane Hill Care Home in Torquay is seeking a Chef on a part-time contract to deliver high quality, nutritious meals within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with complex physical and mental health needs.
You will own food preparation, tailor meals to dietary requirements, maintain hygiene and safety, contribute to menu planning, and work with a supportive team in a role with training and development opportunities.

As a Chef, you will deliver high quality, nutritious and enjoyable meals within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. Your role plays an important part in daily life, providing comfort, routine and enjoyment while supporting overall wellbeing.
You will take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring meals are tailored to individual dietary needs, preferences and nutritional requirements, including modified diets where required. Maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety, you will consistently deliver meals that meet both nutritional and clinical needs.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and smooth day to day service, ensuring a safe, efficient and well organised kitchen environment at all times.
