Aramark UK at Hutcheson's Grammar, Glasgow is seeking a Cook to join our education sector team. You will prepare and present meals to menu specs, maintain service standards, and support the Catering Manager to deliver quality food and service.

The role offers a permanent contract, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, and a competitive £16.50 per hour, with free meals on shift and access to our Employee Benefits app. Training and apprenticeship options are provided to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• NVQ Culinary Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent catering qualification).
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate safe food handling practices.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance and professional conduct.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and present food to meet menu specifications, portion control, presentation standards and service deadlines.
• Maintain food service operations by replenishing service counters and supporting retail sales activities as required.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene and company policies, ensuring compliance with all legislative, client and organisational procedures.
• Support kitchen cleanliness and preparation, including cleaning work areas, utensils and equipment, and assist with mise en place for future service.
• Deliver excellent customer service by responding to customer needs with professionalism and composure.
• Work collaboratively within the team, participate in training and support overall operational success.

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Cook in their Education sector to join our team at Hutcheson's Grammar, G41 4NW.

You will be responsible for food preparation and kitchen operations, supporting the Catering Manager in delivering consistent food quality and service.

• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate safe food handling practices
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and professional conduct at all times
• Proven record of good attendance, reliability, positive behaviour, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
