Job summary

Impact Food Group is hiring a Cook at All Saints Academy in Dunstable. Working Mon–Fri, 8:45am–2:45pm (30 hours weekly) during 39 weeks a year. Salary £17,321.19 per annum. No evenings or weekends, school holidays off, and free meals on shift. Role supports the onsite Chef Manager and team to deliver fresh meals for students and staff.

We value kitchen experience, basic cooking skills, reliability, and a positive team attitude. Training, progression, and access to qualifications are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred (school catering is a bonus, not essential).
• Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn and develop.
• A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• A genuine interest in preparing good, fresh food.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking a range of meals and snacks following set menus.

• Ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8.45am-2.45pm (30hours per week)

What will I be doing?
