In this hands-on role, you’llcombine your culinary expertise with strong team leadership, maintaining highstandards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation while supporting andinspiring your colleagues.

What you'll do:

• Support the Catering Manager and Site Services Manager in delivering the catering service to the required specification.
• Prepare and serve meals, including breakfast services on weekends and bank holidays.
• Oversee and support catering colleagues, covering absences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, infection control, and COSHH requirements.
• Promptly report any equipment faults, building defects, or near misses.
• Follow all Sodexo procedures, catering task cards, and colour-coding policies at all times.
• Lead by example, demonstrating punctuality, professionalism, and a positive team attitude.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in catering, food preparation, and service (supervisory experience desirable).
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and COSHH regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet operational needs.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
• Positive, approachable, and professional manner.
