Conveyancing Lead Role

As a Conveyancing Lead, you will motivate, coach, monitor, and lead a small team of conveyancing professionals managing 60-70 live files. Your goal is to achieve high standards in conversion, compliance, and client care. You will handle escalated legal and client care queries while managing a caseload of up to 40 residential conveyancing files, covering all transaction types.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead your team diligently, ensuring adherence to Dezrezlegal's policies, procedures, and professional standards to protect client, lender, and company interests.
  2. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with introducers through regular updates, review calls, and support.
  3. File Management: Oversee a caseload of up to 40 active residential conveyancing files.
  4. Performance Analysis: Monitor team performance, providing solutions to meet targets related to completions, client feedback, timeframes, and revenue.
  5. Escalation Handling: Serve as the first point of contact for legal, client care, introducer, and complaint issues within your team.
  6. Compliance Oversight: Act as the escalation point for AML and Source of Funds matters.
  7. Reporting: Provide performance reports to senior management, utilizing data analysis for improvements.
  8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with support departments to promote teamwork and client care within Dezrezlegal.
  9. Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the strategic development of Dezrezlegal to support growth and success.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload of 50+ files.
  • Extensive experience with various conveyancing types, including New Build, Shared Ownership, Unregistered, and Auction properties.
  • Proven relationship management with introducers.
  • Proficient in IT, including MS Office and case management systems.
  • Comprehensive conveyancing knowledge from instruction to closure, including Leasehold, Shared Ownership, Negative Equity, and New Builds.
