Job description

JOB TITLE – Conveyancing Fee Earner - Residential Property

My client, a well-established, forward-thinking Solicitor’s firm, easily commutable from Liverpool, Warrington, South Cheshire, and North Wales, is looking for a Conveyancing Fee Earner to join their team. The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week.

Salary range: £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience. A bonus scheme is also on offer.

Main Responsibilities

1. Handle a quality caseload of work allocated by the Conveyancing Manager, primarily conducting Property Law matters on behalf of clients. Ensure all client work is progressed expeditiously and that clients are kept regularly updated on progress and costs.
2. Maintain high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner. Ensure confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information.
3. Achieve individual or department billing and time recording targets in line with the firm's business plan.
4. Participate in marketing activities on a firm-wide or departmental basis as required, actively promoting the firm’s services and its image/ethos.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

1. Qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or have acquired appropriate experience to perform the role.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Property Law, with a varied caseload including complex leasehold and shared ownership matters preferred.

Salary and Benefits Package

• £35,000 - £50,000 base salary, dependent on experience.
