Are you an experienced legal professional with expertise in dispute resolution? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic, client-focused law firm with a national presence. We are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Dispute Resolution Fee Earner or Solicitor to play an integral role in our busy litigation team, working remotely and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of contentious matters.
Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Fee Earner Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of dispute resolution and litigation matters, including commercial disputes, contractual claims, debt recovery, landlord and tenant disputes, property litigation, and employment claims
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating settlement agreements, pleadings, witness statements, court forms, and other legal documentation
- Conducting legal research, case analysis, and preparing comprehensive case strategies and client reports
- Representing clients in alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediation, arbitration, and negotiation meetings
- Attending court hearings, instructing counsel, and progressing cases through the litigation process where necessary
- Liaising directly with clients, third parties, court staff, barristers, and other stakeholders throughout the dispute resolution process
- Ensuring all regulatory, anti-money laundering (AML), and professional compliance requirements are consistently met
Required Skills & Experience for Dispute Resolution & Litigation Law
- Qualified solicitor, legal executive or fee earner with significant experience in dispute resolution and/or litigation law
- Sound knowledge of civil procedure rules, relevant legislation, and dispute resolution best practices
- Track record of managing your own disputes caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong client care ethic and ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Confident communicator, able to present cases persuasively both in writing and in person
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Ability to work equally well both collaboratively as part of a legal team and independently
