Job summary

Clear IT Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Conveyancing professional for a Bristol-based law firm to manage a varied caseload and support the wider Conveyancing Department while delivering an excellent level of client service.

The role requires strong client communication, accurate documentation, and timely progression of transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to provide a seamless conveyancing service.

Qualifications

• Current Practicing Certificate.
• Law Degree.
• Conveyancing training or qualifications.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong discretion and professionalism.
• Good IT skills and confidence working electronically.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders.
• Manage and progress a varied caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages.
• Maintain accurate case management records and ensure files remain compliant.
• Monitor key dates, particularly for auction and new-build matters, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Proactively progress matters to achieve efficient outcomes for clients.
• Draft and review contract packages, raise enquiries and submit searches.
• Prepare title, mortgage and search reports and act for mortgage lenders.
• Conduct exchanges of contracts and agree transfer deeds.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Conveyancing team to deliver a seamless service.
