Job summary

Bell Cornwall Recruitment is assisting a well-established law firm in Alfreton to recruit a Conveyancing Solicitor. The role involves managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion and handling contracts, title documentation and property searches.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Solicitor with 2-3 years+ PQE, capable of working independently in a busy environment and delivering excellent client communication.

• Able to examine contracts, title docs, and property searches.

We are looking for a Conveyancing Solicitor to join a well-established local law firm in Alfreton. You will be joining a strong and experienced property team within a supportive working environment.

Conveyancer Responsibilities:

• Running a residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion
• Examining contracts, title documentation, and property searches
• Preparing and dealing with pre-contract enquiries
• Maintaining regular communication with clients, estate agents, lenders, and legal representatives
• Managing exchanges, completions, and post-completion matters

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Solicitor
• 2-3 years + PQE
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
• Commercial property experience would be advantageous
• Excellent organisational abilities and client communication skills
