Job summary

Mayo Wynne Baxter is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Chichester team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will support a wide range of property work and work with clients, estate agents and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have paralegal experience in a busy conveyancing department, a friendly manner with clients, strong organisational and prioritising skills, and the ability to manage a demanding workload while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Paralegal position.
• Positive and friendly manner dealing with clients, referrers and colleagues.
• Ability to manage workload and request input when needed.
• Ability to provide excellent client service.
• High initiative and ability to cope in a demanding environment.
• Excellent organisational and prioritising skills.
• Ability to work in a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Support with a wide range of property work, including completion of initial contract packs, drafting sale contracts, submitting stamp duty land tax returns and sending Land Registry applications for Residential Property clients.
• Handle post-completion work including stamp duty payments, registration, mortgage discharge and agents fees, notices, indemnity policies and Deeds scheduling.
• Attend client meetings, manage legal reporting work and respond to progress enquiries from clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and colleagues.
