Job summary

Mayo Wynne Baxter is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Chichester team on a permanent, full-time basis. We are a friendly firm with a strong reputation in Sussex and beyond.

You will support a busy conveyancing department on residential property matters, work towards financial targets, and handle post-completion tasks while delivering excellent client service in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Paralegal position.
• A positive and friendly manner in dealing with clients, referrers and colleagues
• Ability to manage workload and request input when needed
• Ability to provide excellent client service
• High degree of initiative and ability to cope in a demanding environment
• Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
• Ability to work in a busy team

Responsibilities

• Support with a wide range of property work, including drafting sale contracts and submitting SDLT returns.
• Deal with post-completion work – including SDLT payment, Land Registry registrations, mortgage discharge, agents' fees, notices, indemnity policies and Deeds scheduling.
• Attend client meetings and manage progress enquiries from clients, agents and colleagues.
