Job summary

Homey Group is seeking a Paralegal to support our conveyancing team with legal research, document preparation, and case support. You will work between the Conveyancing Executive and a fee-earning Conveyancer, handling supervised tasks while building experience toward a Conveyancer role.

You will assist with title investigations, drafting reports, review search results, and completion documentation. The role emphasizes accuracy, client updates, and readiness to progress in property law.

Qualifications

• Law degree, GDL, LPC, or equivalent legal qualification (completed or in progress).
• 1+ years of experience in conveyancing, property law, or legal support role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Conveyancers with title investigation, reviewing office copy entries and planning searches.
• Preparing draft reports on title, contract packs, and replies to enquiries under supervision.
• Reviewing search results and flagging issues to the supervising Conveyancer.
• Preparing completion statements, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation under supervision.
• Managing client correspondence and updating clients on case progress.
• Conduct AML and source of funds checks at the direction of the supervising Conveyancer.
• Supporting the Post Completion team with AP1 preparation and SDLT documentation.
• Maintaining accurate case records on the Homey platform.
• Assisting with legal research on non-standard title or property issues as required.
