Job summary

Better People Ltd in Beaconsfield is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to support the residential property team. The role is office-based, requiring a minimum of three years’ hands-on residential conveyancing experience and a keen eye for detail as files move from instruction to post-completion.

You will help with searches, contract packs, AML checks, and ensuring smooth communications with clients, agents and lenders.

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience on residential conveyancing files in a law firm or conveyancing practice.
• Sound knowledge of the full sale and purchase process.
• Strong organisation, accuracy and professional communication.
• Willingness to work in Beaconsfield area; fully office-based.

Responsibilities

• Support sale and purchase transactions from instruction to post-completion, including searches, contract packs, enquiries, completion statements, SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
• Opening new matters and carrying out AML, ID and compliance checks
• Keeping clients, estate agents, lenders and the other side updated at every stage
• Maintaining accurate file records on LEAP
• Handling telephone enquiries and client appointments as part of the office team

Residential Conveyancing Paralegal Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

Office-based. Minimum three years' residential conveyancing experience. Up to 40,000 + Christmas closure.

Do you have at least three years' hands-on residential conveyancing experience, and would you like to work in a team where you are known, supported and valued?

Our client is a friendly, professional and growing legal practice based in smart offices on Beaconsfield High Street. Their residential property team is busy, and they are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to work closely with their conveyancers and keep sale and purchase files moving from instruction through to post-completion.

Role

This is a varied, hands-on role in a close-knit team. Being in the office together means quick answers, real support and colleagues around you, rather than working alone behind a screen. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting sale and purchase transactions from instruction to post-completion, including searches, contract packs, enquiries, completion statements, SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
• Opening new matters and carrying out AML, ID and compliance checks
• Keeping clients, estate agents, lenders and the other side updated at every stage
• Maintaining accurate file records on LEAP
• Handling telephone enquiries and client appointments as part of the office team

What you'll need

• At least three years' experience working on residential conveyancing files in a law firm or conveyancing practice
• A sound working knowledge of the whole sale and purchase process
• Strong organisation, accuracy and professional communication skills
• To live within easy reach of Beaconsfield (for example High Wycombe, Gerrards Cross, Amersham, Marlow, Maidenhead, Slough or Uxbridge), as this role is fully office-based

Experience using LEAP would be helpful but is not essential.
