Qualifications

• Experience in a residential conveyancing department is essential.
• Sound understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach, able to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
• Strong client care skills with a professional and approachable manner.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Prepare legal documents, contracts, completion statements, and correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to drive transactions forward.
• Order and review property searches, Land Registry documentation, and title information.
• Ensure all files are maintained accurately and in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Support fee earners throughout each stage of the conveyancing process.
• Maintain accurate records on the firm's case management system and monitor progress towards key deadlines.
• Contribute to efficient exchanges and completions by delivering proactive support.

The Role

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a key supporting role within the team, helping fee earners manage a broad caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
