Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors in Norwich NR1 is seeking an outgoing Conveyancing Paralegal to join our close-knit team. Working 1:1 with a Solicitor, you will manage live residential files from instruction to post-completion and handle main office calls.

You will support a 1:1 solicitor, progress files, liaise with clients, estate agents, and lenders, and maintain accurate documents and case management. The role offers hybrid working and clear progression.

Qualifications

• 1+ year hands-on experience in residential conveyancing (pre-instruction to post-completion).
• Ability to run live files with a Solicitor and provide support across tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 Solicitor support: manage and progress a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
• Interact with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties with clear updates.
• Handle first line of contact via main firm line in a professional manner.
• Prepare contract packs for sales, order property searches, and draft reports.
• Manage post, update case management/ledger systems and ensure policy compliance.

The Role

We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, and eager-to-learn Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our close-knit team. Working 1:1 with a Solicitor, you will be the engine room of your dedicated pod, running live files alongside your Solicitor from initial instruction through to post-completion, while also acting as a friendly, confident voice on our main office telephone line for incoming client calls.

Key Responsibilities

• 1:1 Solicitor Support: Work side-by-side on a 1:1 basis with your designated Solicitor to manage, progress, and execute a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
• Client & Third-Party Interaction: Act as a key contact for clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties, delivering exceptional service and clear updates.
• First Line of Contact: Handle incoming mainline phone calls for the firm in an outgoing, professional, and helpful manner.
• File Management & Documentation: Prepare contract packs for sales, request pre-assignment packs/mortgage redemption statements, order property and Land Registry searches, progress enquiries, and draft reports.
• Administrative & Systems Control: Manage post, update case management/ledger systems, and maintain strict compliance and company policy standards.
